Substation Switchgear Upgrade Successfully Completed at ADNOC Habshan-0

Brownfield execution with zero shutdown through live online changeover.

Experts E&I has successfully completed a major brownfield substation switchgear upgrade at ADNOC Habshan-0, delivered with zero operational shutdown. The upgrade was executed through a carefully planned online changeover, ensuring uninterrupted power supply while modernizing critical electrical infrastructure for ADNOC Onshore.

Delivering this scope in a live operating environment demanded precise coordination, strict safety controls, and disciplined execution. The project stands as a strong example of our capability to handle high-risk electrical upgrades without compromising plant operations.

  • Site engineering, installation, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning support
  • Power transformers up to 50 MVA, 33 kV
  • 33 kV GIS panels – 30 Nos
  • HT & LT switchgear panels – 200 Nos
  • HT, LT, power, control & signal cables – 250 km
  • Cable trays – 5,000 m
  • Lighting fixtures – 350 Nos
  • Telecom system equipment – 300 Nos
