Powering Marjan’s Expansion: Offshore Gas Lift Module Delivered on Time

Complete E&I Execution for a Critical Offshore Expansion

EXPERTS E&I delivered full Electrical & Instrumentation works for the MARJAN TP-14 Offshore Deck Module and MARJAN 740/749 Gas Lift PDM project for Saudi Aramco in Sohar, Oman.

The scope covered construction support, fabrication integration, load-out readiness, and complete E&I installation, testing, pre-commissioning, and start-up of the offshore gas lift system. This package formed part of the broader Marjan Field expansion and required strict compliance with Saudi Aramco engineering and safety standards.

Project Scope Highlights

 

Our team executed site engineering, installation, testing, and pre-commissioning for:

  • 4 Power Transformers (13.8/0.48 kV)
  • 200 HT & LT Switchgear Panels and Telecom Control Panels
  • 120 km of HT, LT, Power, Control & Signal Cables
  • 16,400 meters of Cable Trays and Conduits
  • 350 Lighting Fixtures including Helipad Lighting
  • 664 Field Instruments, Telecom Equipment & F&G Detectors
  • 8 Navigation Aid System lots

 

All systems were installed, tested, and prepared for commissioning in line with offshore operational requirements.

Execution & Safety Performance

 

The project recorded 361,500 manhours without LTI, reflecting a strong safety culture and disciplined execution on site.

Despite tight load-out deadlines and complex cable routing within confined module spaces, the team maintained steady progress through proper sequencing, coordination between disciplines, and close monitoring of interfaces across modules.

The result: timely completion and smooth load-out preparation without compromising installation quality.

Each challenge was handled through detailed planning, practical site-level decision-making, and continuous coordination with stakeholders.
