Majnoon Oil Field Gets State-of-the-Art H₂S Analyzer for Amine Unit 1

Enhancing sour gas treatment with integrated, reliable, and safe monitoring

BOC-Iraq required a robust and fully integrated H₂S analyzer system for Amine Unit Train 1 at the Majnoon Oil Field, ensuring accurate monitoring of sour gas treatment processes. The system needed to provide reliable measurements, meet safety standards in hazardous areas, and include complete sample handling while being housed in a protective structure suitable for challenging field conditions.

Experts E & I delivered a comprehensive solution: a high-precision H₂S analyzer, fully integrated sample handling system, and a 3-sided shelter designed to withstand the environmental conditions of the field. The design ensured operational reliability, compliance with safety standards, and minimized the need for manual intervention.

The project included full engineering, integration, and supply, providing BOC-Iraq with a ready-to-operate, field-proven solution that enhances process safety, operational efficiency, and reliability.
